This is vintage Arita ware produced roughly 20 to 30 years ago. These small, tsuzumi-shaped sake cups — originally made for aperitifs in the 1980s and 1990s — are now rarely produced, making this size quite uncommon today. In addition to serving sake, they can also be used as a small side dish or as a dressing server.

2-30年前に作られた有田焼の平盃。ヴィンテージのデッドストック(新品の未使用)です。繊細な牡丹が二つ丁寧に描かれており、その周りに蔓が描かれています。生地も薄く作られており、燗冷ともにどちらでもお使い頂けます。小鉢のように一品料理を入れてお使い頂いても良いかと思います。
