This is vintage Arita ware produced roughly 20 to 30 years ago. These small, tsuzumi-shaped sake cups — originally made for aperitifs in the 1980s and 1990s — are now rarely produced, making this size quite uncommon today. In addition to serving sake, they can also be used as a small side dish or as a dressing server.

食前酒用として80〜90年代にかけて作られた小ぶりな鼓型の酒器は現在では作られることが無くなった希少なサイズです。錆びた鉄のような茶色の釉薬と内側に引かれた青い線のコントラストが特徴的な酒器です。お酒だけでなく小鉢やドレッシングポッドとしてもお使い頂けます。
