Gosu is a traditional blue pigment that has long been used in porcelain decoration, especially in sometsuke (blue-and-white ware). The clear, refined blue patterns painted onto white porcelain immediately draw the eye. Fukuhisa GOSU showcases this color to its fullest through a traditional shading and filling technique called “dami,” which creates depth and richness in tone.
The small bowls and plates are not only suitable for serving condiments and sauces, but their compact size also allows them to double as chopstick rests or small accents on the table. They invite playful, elegant table styling.
